IIM Bangalore’s PGP and PGPBA Class of 2023-25 Achieves 100% Placements with 176 Firms

Bengaluru: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore successfully completed its Lateral and Final Placements for the PGP and PGPBA Class of 2023-25, securing offers for all 595 students from 176 reputed companies.

Management Consulting remained the top career choice, accounting for 41% of the total offers, followed by Technology/Product Management and Investment Banking. Other prominent sectors included FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, Conglomerates, Fintech, Healthcare, and Manufacturing, covering functions like strategy, finance, marketing, general management, product management, operations, and analytics, according to IIM Bangalore’s press statement.

Top Recruiters:
Leading recruiters included Accenture Strategy (75 offers), Boston Consulting Group (25 offers), TCS Management Consulting (24 offers), American Express (20 offers), Bain & Company (17 offers), PwC (16 offers), and McKinsey & Company (14 offers).

Sector-wise Breakdown:

  • Consulting (32 firms, 245 offers): Major recruiters included Accenture, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, PwC, EY India, KPMG, and more.
  • IT Software/Analytics/Product Management (34 firms, 80 offers): Companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, ThoughtSpot, BrowserStack, and Salesforce were among the prominent recruiters.
  • Finance/Banking/Investments (41 firms, 79 offers): Top recruiters included Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase & Co., HSBC Bank, Barclays, and Standard Chartered Bank.
  • E-commerce/Payments/Telecom/Logistics (19 firms, 70 offers): Recruiters included Amazon, PhonePe, Swiggy, Zomato, and Flipkart.
  • Manufacturing/Construction/Energy (19 firms, 38 offers): Notable companies included Tata Steel, Indian Oil Corporation, Suzlon Energy, and Samsung Electronics.
  • FMCG/Retail (16 firms, 37 offers): Major recruiters were Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Procter & Gamble, Mondelez, and Amul.
  • Conglomerates (8 firms, 23 offers): Adani Group, Tata Administrative Services, Mahindra Group, and Vedanta were some of the key recruiters.
  • Healthcare/Education (8 firms, 23 offers): Notable names included Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Sun Pharmaceuticals, and Optum.
