RTU Admission Process

B.Tech, B.Arch & BHMCT 

RTU offers BE/ B.Tech, B.Arch and BHMCT courses in various disciplines in full-time mode. For admission to BE/ B.Tech & B.Arch, the candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their marks in 10 plus 2 for REAP round. Preference will be given to those who have applied for REAP counselling process on the basis of their score in JEE Main. BHMCT admission is offered on the basis of marks in 10 plus 2.

M.Tech & M.Arch 

At the post-graduate level, the university offers M.Tech and M.Arch courses in various specializations. BE/ B.Tech or M.Sc in the relevant degree holders are eligible to apply for M.Tech while B.Arch degree is mandatory for M.Arch. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their marks in the qualifying degree for RTU CAM process. For M.Tech, GATE qualified candidates can also apply for the RTU CAM process.

RTU MBA, MCA, MTM & MAM

The university also offers MBA (Department of Management Studies (DOMS)), MCA, Integrated MTM and MAM (Dual degree) program in various streams at the post-graduate level. MBA admission is offered on the basis of a valid score in RMAT or CMAT. For MCA program, the university conducts RMCAAT.

RTU Ph.D. 

Students can also apply for Ph.D. program at the doctoral level on the basis of their performance in RTU DAT conducted by the university followed by an interview. The minimum eligibility for admission is Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) from a recognized university.

Eligibility:

• Postgraduate degree in Law with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.

• Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply. (However, before the completion of the admission procedure, the original mark sheet of the qualifying examination has to be produced to show that the candidate fulfills the eligibility criteria.)

The admission will be through an entrance test and a personal interview.

UGC-NET and JRF qualified candidates will be exempted from appearing in the Entrance Test

but will have to appear for the Personal Interview.

The entrance test will seek to judge the abilities of the candidates in the fields of Subject Knowledge

and Research Methodology. The subject knowledge specific questions will be short-answer type as

well as multiple-choice questions.

MPUAT Admission Process

• Admission to B.Sc. Ag. and M.Sc. (Ag.) programme is done through an entrace examination (JET and Pre P.G. Test) for which application are to be submitted whenever requisitioned through a notification in news papers, circulars and displays on the notice boards. Admission to B.Sc. (Ag.) programme are also done on merit and on self financing basis as notified by the university.
• Candidates seeking admission to B. Tech. (D.T.) , B. Tech. (F.T.) & B.Tech (Bio Technology) shall have to appear in the Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPETAP) conducted by Technical Board, Govt. of Rajasthan. Under ICAR quota Candidates are not required to appear in the RPETAP.
• Admission in B.Tech programme is made as per the State government policy through a common entrance examination known as State Level Pre Engineering Test (RPETEAP) which is applicable for admission in other engineering colleges of the State also. The seats are also reserved for AIEEE students from other states. The admission on 8 seats in the Agricultural Engineering discipline is made by ICAR through All India Joint Entrance Test. The M.Tech admission is made on the basis of All India GATE score.  The admissions to Ph.D. programmes are made on the basis of merit/interview.  The academic session of studies is from July to June.

• The candidates, other than nominees of ICAR, will have to appear in State Level Pre-Engineering Test conducted by the Centralized Admission Committee, as notified by the Govt. of Rajasthan for admission to Engineering Colleges in Rajasthan.

Applications for admission are invited for all Regular Undergraduate (UG), Post Graduate (PG), Diploma & Vocational Programs. Aspirants may choose following mode of admission as per applicability on their desired programs.

Mode of Admission:

• Admission State/National/University Entrance cum Scholarship Examination Basis: University conducts Entrance Examination i.e.- Joint National Entrance Examination (JNEE) or considers valid score card of National/State/different University recognized Entrance Examinations such as GATE/JEE/MAT/CAT/LSAT/CLAT etc. for admissions in various Medical, Technical and Professional Programs.
• Admission NEET Merit Basis: As per directions from Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, In AYUSH Programs i.e. BAMS and BHMS , seats are strictly filled in these programs through NEET merit basis. Candidates are required to appear in University Scholarship Examination (JNEE) for availing Scholarship only. .
• Admission Direct Merit Basis: In General Programs, seats are filled directly through the merit, based on the score of last qualifying Examination such as X/XII/Graduation Percentage or any score card percentile basis as per University notifications.
• Admission Through Management/NRI Quota- Admission on few reserved seats of Management/NRI Quota for all  programs as per University Notification.
• Main Fee is applicable on all programs by taking admission on Management/NRI Quota.

• Step 2: Select Fee Head option “Tuition Fee” or “Hostel Fee”.
• Step 3: Select Semester option “July-Dec (Odd Semester)” or “Jan-May (Even Semester)” or “Both”.
• Step 4: Click on “Search/Submit” button at the bottom of the page.
• Step 5: Select your School of admission, your program, and year.
• Step 6: In the drop down list your name will appear, select it. Your fee details will appear in a table
• Step 7: Enter your Email ID and mobile number on which you want transaction confirmation email/message.
• Step 8: Click on “Pay Now” button.
• Step 9: Confirm the details on next page and click on “Pay Now”. You will be redirected to PayUMoney.com payment gateway page.
• Step 10: Choose the mode of payment from net-banking, credit cards or debit card. Kindly follow the instructions as applicable to your choice of payment. Please do not refresh the page or press back button on the browser.
• Step 11: After successful of payment, system will generate a receipt against payment, download and/or take print of it.
• Step 12: Submit the proof of payment at University Accounts office.

IMPORTANT: To submit a payment through the online-payment site, extra charges shall be charged to your fee amount by Payment Gateway. These charges will be automatically added in your fee amount and will be visible on Payment Gateway Page.
