Over 5,000 Students Appear for TBJEE 2025; Exams Conducted Peacefully Across 15 Centres

Agartala: The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) successfully conducted its joint entrance test on Wednesday, with over 5,000 candidates appearing for the exam, confirmed TBJEE Chairman Dr. Subhadeep Paul.

Out of the total 5,296 candidates, 2,781 were female and 2,515 were male. The examination was held across 15 centres throughout the state.

The examination schedule began with the Physics and Chemistry papers, held from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by the Biology paper from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM. The Mathematics examination was conducted in the final slot, from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM. Dr. Paul noted that the exams were held without any disruptions.

Breaking down the participation, 644 candidates appeared for the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) group, while 3,085 students opted for the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) group. Additionally, 1,604 candidates applied for both PCM and PCB groups.

Comparatively, last year saw around 6,000 students enrolling for the same set of examinations.

When questioned about the result declaration timeline, Dr. Paul stated that the result processing would commence soon after the completion of the exams.
