Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Police has released the final results for the recruitment exams for Subedar, Sub Inspector, and Platoon Commander positions. Candidates can download their results from the official website at cgpolice.gov.in.
The final merit list has been prepared following Chhattisgarh’s reservation policies, considering candidates’ scores and preferences. A total of 959 candidates have been recommended for 975 available positions.
According to the official notification:
- 57 out of 58 Subedar positions have been filled.
- 577 out of 577 Sub Inspector positions have been filled.
- 69 out of 69 Sub Inspector (Special Branch) positions have been filled.
- 247 out of 247 Platoon Commander positions have been filled.
- 2 out of 6 Sub Inspector (Finger Print) positions have been filled.
- 1 out of 3 Sub Inspector (Document in Question) positions has been filled.
- 5 out of 6 Sub Inspector (Computer) positions have been filled.
- 1 out of 9 Sub Inspector (Radio) positions has been filled.
In compliance with a Chhattisgarh High Court order, one post of Subedar (Female) in the ST category has been reserved based on the candidate’s preference. The remaining vacancies remain unfilled due to a shortage of eligible candidates.
Reserved category candidates (OBC-Non-Creamy Layer, SC, ST) who qualified in the unreserved category through the selection stages (preliminary and main exams) have been recommended for unreserved category positions where eligible. When reserved category candidates qualify for the unreserved category but their preferred position is unavailable in the unreserved category, they are allocated a post in the reserved category.
