More About Mangalore University
Mangalore University was born out of Mysore University in 1980 where it was a postgraduate centre. The University which started with three postgraduate departments, now has twenty-five postgraduate departments, supported by modern infrastructure and experienced faculty. Mangalore University has grown impressively since its inception with 190 affiliated colleges including two constituent colleges, one at Mangalore and another at Madikeri.

Mangalore University Admission Process
Admission to MBA and MCA program on the basis of merit in Karnataka PGCET conducted by KEA and marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
Admission to the Ph.D. and M.Phil. is given through the entrance test and interview round conducted by the university.
Candidates are admitted to Diploma program on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination.
The selection of the candidates for admission to PG Diploma course is done on the basis of the applicant’s merit in the qualifying examination and marks obtained in the entrance test.
