More About Gujarat Ayurved University
Gujarat Ayurved University was established in 1965 for imparting teaching, training and research in various specialities of Ayurveda. The University is spread across a sprawling campus in Jamnagar and is also equipped with 300 bedded indoor facility hospitals for the treatment of patients, research and clinical training of the students. Well established herbal gardens are available for teaching & training. Most of these facilities are offered free of cost sponsored by Govt. Of India & Govt. Of Gujarat.
Apart from Undergraduate education, the University also offers Post Graduate education in different subjects of Ayurveda and a high level clinical and experimental research in the field. The University has designed courses in Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Sciences, Ayurvedic Medicinal Plant Sciences and Yoga & Naturopathy. Foreign students from various countries of Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America are attending the short term & long term courses and clinical training in different departments of the University.

Gujarat Ayurved University Admission Process
Admission to Certificate and Diploma Courses
Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar also offers an introductory course in Ayurveda, Certification, Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma courses in various fields. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible to apply for the courses.
For Postgraduate Diploma courses, candidates must have graduation/bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject(s) obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA.
Selection is done on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying examination and interview. The merit list will be prepared for all categories based on applicants marks at graduation level. Applicants who clear the cut-off score set by the college will be called for further admission process.
Admission to Postgraduate Courses
Selection of candidates for M. Pharma and M.SC. courses are done on the basis of Common Entrance Test(CET) and personal interview conducted by Gujarat Ayurved University. Selection of candidates for M. S. and M. D. course will be on the basis of NEET PG scores.
The merit list will be prepared for all categories based on candidates scores in NEET PG and CET scores. Candidates who clear the cut-off score set by the University will be called for the admission process.
