Under Graduate Programme
Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.)
Admission to undergraduate programme leading to Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc.& A.H.) degree is done through merit list of state level competitive examination conducted by Chhattisgarh State Professional Examination Board for XII class Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (attaining 50% marks in these subjects overall) stream students.
Bachelor of Technology (Dairy Science and Food Technology) [ B.Tech.(D T)]
Admission to undergraduate programme leading to Bachelor of Technology (Dairy Science and Food Technology) [B.Tech.(DT)] degree is done through merit list of state level competitive examination(Pre Engineering Test) conducted by Chhattisgarh State Professional Examination Board for XII class Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English stream students attaining 50% marks. Over and above the seat quota of the state(36 seats), 15% seats (05 seats) are filled through “All India Entrance Examination for Admission” conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B. F. Sc.)
Admission to undergraduate programme leading to Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F. Sc.) degree is done through merit list of state level competitive examination conducted by Chhattisgarh State Professional Examination Board for XII class Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (attaining 50% marks in these subjects overall ) stream students. Over and above the seat quota of the state (30 seats), 15% seats(05) are filled through “All India Entrance Examination for Admission” conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Two (02) seats are reserved for employees of Department of Fisheries (Govt. of Chhattisgarh), which are also filled through the above mentioned criteria.
Post Graduate and Doctoral programme
Admission to postgraduate and doctoral programmes leading to Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.) (15 subjects) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) (12 subjects) degrees in Veterinary Faculty and Master of Technology (M.Tech.) (04 subjects) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) (01 subject) degrees in Dairy Science and Food Technology faculty are done through merit lists of “Common Entrance” Test conducted by this Vishwavidyalaya.
