Magadh University was established on 1st March 1962. The University imparts training in the Faculties of Humanities, Science, Commerce, Management and Vocational in 29 Subjects. It also has a number of Diploma and Degree courses which are taught mainly through distance education mode.The college of Hotel, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Academy of Foreign Languages & Cultural Cooperation, Institute of Physiotherapy, Institute of Reconstruction & Development Management and Department of Education are the job-oriented courses taught in the University.

Admission in Magadh University is done both online and offline mode. For offline mode, candidates can get the prospectus along with admission forms directly from the university with a minimum payment of Rs 500 or can also download the application form from the official website. They are then required to send the completed form along with the demand draft of the required amount to the University.
BA , BMM & BBA/BBM
Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate courses should have passed Class 12 or Intermediate with relevant subjects from a well-recognized Board. The minimum marks required to be eligible for the program is 50%.
