The Indian Diamond Institute (IDI) was established in 1978 for the learning, training and research in Diamond, gems and jewellery. The institute has recognition as a Scientific & Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) under Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. It’s ISO 9001:2008 certified for design, development and provision of training, consultancy & certification services related to diamonds, coloured stones & jewellery.
