Sidho Kanho Birsha University was established in 2010 and is named after three illustrious tribal leaders – Sidho, Kanho and Birsha Munda. They were brave enough to master courage and fight against British imperialist oppression. It aims to provide higher learning among the youth in backward and tribal areas and making them employable in today’s job market.
