New Delhi: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has commenced the NIOS Board Examination 2025 for Classes 10 and 12 from today, October 14, 2025. The exams will generally be held in a single shift — from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM on most days, while certain papers will conclude earlier at 4:30 PM.
For all India exam centres, the NIOS Class 10 and 12 exams will conclude on November 18, 2025. The Class 12 exams begin with Early Childhood Care and Education, while the Class 10 exams start with Sanskrit Sahitya and Entrepreneurship.

Students must carry their hall tickets to the examination centres.

Candidates should reach the exam venue at the reporting time mentioned on their admit card.

Only pens and stationery items listed in the admit card are allowed.

Electronic gadgets and other prohibited items are strictly banned.
The NIOS Board Exam 2025 results are expected to be declared around seven weeks after the last exam date. Candidates are advised not to make inquiries regarding the exact result date. Once announced, the results will be available on the official NIOS website.
Successful candidates will receive their Mark-Sheet-cum-Certificate and Migration-cum-Transfer Certificate directly through their respective Accredited Institutions (AIs). In cases where an AI has been cancelled, these documents will be sent by post to the student’s registered address by the concerned Regional Centre.
