New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will announce the results of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 exam soon. Once released, candidates can check their eligibility for the Tier 2 exam on the official website, ssc.gov.in. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam took place in September, and provisional answer keys have already been issued. The results are expected to follow shortly.
The result document will include the roll numbers of candidates selected for the Tier 2 exam.
The Tier 1 recruitment exam was conducted from September 9 to 26, and provisional answer keys were published on October 4. Candidates had the opportunity to submit objections to the tentative answer keys until October 8.
The Tier 1 exam consisted of objective-type, multiple-choice questions covering four sections:
– General Intelligence and Reasoning
– General Awareness
– Quantitative Aptitude
– English Comprehension
Each section contained 25 questions, with a maximum score of 50 per section.
The minimum qualifying marks for the Tier 1 exam are set at 30% for unreserved category candidates, 25% for OBC and EWS candidates, and 20% for other categories.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 17,727 Group B and Group C positions in various ministries, departments, and organizations under the central government, as well as in statutory bodies and tribunals.
