New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon announce the result of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 examination. Once released, candidates can view the SSC CGL Tier 1 result at ssc.gov.in. The result document will list the roll numbers of candidates eligible for the Tier 2 exam.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was conducted nationwide from September 9 to 26. Provisional answer keys were released on October 4, with candidates allowed to submit objections until October 8.
The Tier 1 exam consisted of objective-type multiple-choice questions covering four sections:
- General Intelligence and Reasoning
- General Awareness
- Quantitative Aptitude
- English Comprehension
Each section included 25 questions, with a maximum of 50 marks per section. Passing marks are set at 30% for unreserved candidates, 25% for OBC and EWS candidates, and 20% for other categories.
The SSC CGL exam aims to fill 17,727 Group B and Group C vacancies in central government ministries, departments, statutory bodies, tribunals, and other organizations.
