New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will now make the NEET UG 2024 scorecards, OMR sheets, and other candidate data available on DigiLocker and UMANG applications. Candidates who participated in this year’s examination can access their scorecards, OMR answer sheets, and related documents through these digital platforms.
This decision, announced in an official notice by the NTA, aims to address numerous complaints about the OMR answer sheets and to provide more convenient access to important examination documents. According to the NTA, this step will streamline and expedite access to these records.
The NTA stated, “Candidates who registered for NEET (UG) 2024 can now view their Confirmation Page, NTA Score Card, and scanned images of their OMR Answer Sheets via UMANG and DigiLocker. We encourage all candidates to log in to these platforms to directly access their documents. This initiative is designed to resolve the issues and concerns regarding the OMR Sheets and other related materials.”
Recently, the NTA released a final revised scorecard for NEET UG 2024, revealing that 17 students achieved a perfect score of 720, which is a 75 percent reduction in the number of top scorers from the previous results.
The revision of the NEET UG results was prompted by a Supreme Court order following an IIT Delhi recommendation concerning a disputed Physics question, which led to a re-tallying of results as directed by the court.
The NEET UG 2024 exam was held on May 5 across 557 cities in India and 14 international cities. A re-test was conducted for 1,563 affected candidates on June 23, 2024.
